Social Studies
Grade 4:
Can you name all the physical regions posted yesterday? Review some different landforms:

What physical features (landforms) did Ancient Rome and Judea have in common? What were some differences? Complete your chart and tomorrow we will write a compare and contrast paragraph. 

Grade 5:
What do the artifacts in the textbook tell you about the First Nations people? Hunting? Customs? Natural resources?
What does your artifact say about you and our customs today?

Try to find out some information about your ancestors. Where did they come from? What is the origin of your name?

Math
Grade 4 Test: 
  • 2-digit and 3-digit multiplication and long division 
  • You may use repeated subtraction or the algorithm for long division 
  • Make sure you understand key words that tell you when to divide and when to multiply when solving problems
  • Make sure you understand how to estimate quotients by determining related facts that are easy to divide
