Literacy / Social Studies
Many student have outstanding writing pieces. The weather is getting warmer... you don't want to be inside finishing work.....
Remember how a non-fiction (or fiction) paragraph is organized. The main idea is usually stated at the beginning and the rest of the sentences are details supporting that main idea. Tomorrow we will write a non-fiction paragraph about the physical features surrounding either Ancient Rome or Judea. Remember.... physical features include:

In grade five we began our study of the First Nation People of Eastern Canada. We will be looking at the importance of community to the aboriginal people of Canada.

Grade five we learned about dividing a decimal number by 10 and dividing with decimal dividends. Try these:

Grade four, keep practising 3-digit multiplication and division with 2 and 3-digit dividends.
