Awesome job working collaboratively with your group to find the different features of non-fiction informational texts. How many do you remember? If you understand the purpose of the features, it will help you understand the text (the topic or main idea). We also began looking at the structure of informational texts. Each paragraph has a main idea sentence and supporting details sentences. You will be using these skills throughout our units on Early Societies and First Nations.

Math
Unfortunately not everyone was able to complete their math test today, so we'll finish on Monday. You will have another multiplication and division test next Wednesday. Grade four, it will include 3-digit multiplication and long division. Grade 5 your test will include multiplying and dividing with decimals.
Dance
