Literacy
What did you think of the ending of the novel? Did you guess that Jacob was just dreaming? We will be completing several assessment tasks this week and the week we return from March Break. Please make sure you complete your menu. To view your uploaded file from the cloud:

Math
Today the grade fours were introduced to the decimetre. What was the relationship between decimetres and centimetres? Decimetres and metres?


Remember the metric number line. Each hop is a factor of 10. Moving from left to right, the numbers get larger. Right to left the numbers get smaller.


Grade fives, make sure you understand how the decimal moves. Learn the number line:

Religion
Today we prayed the Sorrowful Mysteries. The events in the scriptural rosary today we will be discussing after March Break during Holy Week. Use the picture below to recall the events.





Science
Some very clever ways to test for absorbency on materials. Please make sure you record your results in an organized table tomorrow and complete all questions.


Drama
Make sure you are ready to present your reading with your partner  from the novel on Thursday or Friday. A few groups must present tomorrow because of students going on vacation. Bring any costumes or props you need.
