Math
Grade fives learned one way we classify triangles based on angles. Tomorrow we will discuss how we classify triangles based on side lengths (number of equal sides).

One angle is usually all you need to measure to determine what kind of angled-triangle.
You can also use your benchmark angles (folded paper)!

Grade fours began their classification of quadrilaterals. Know the definitions!
Questions to think about....
Is a square a rectangle?
Is a rhombus a parallelogram?
Is a parallelogram a rectangle?

Explain to your parents how the quadrilateral tree works:

Media
We will continue to work on our I Movie trailers for "The Garage Sale Mystery". Make sure you bring in props and costumes to leave at school. Whenever the I Pads are available we will squeeze in some time to complete this task.

Some wonderful power points were presented today. I'm amazed at how well you know all the features. Make sure you can read all the words in your power point.
