Social Studies
Everyone worked very well with a partner to work on assigned work. Keep up the excellent collaboration skills!

Grade 4:
Were you able to find a trend between the type of physical region (landform) and the amount of precipitation. Tomorrow you will be finishing up your non-fiction paragraph comparing the challenges and benefits of having one specific landform as part of an early society (e.g. mountains, plains, rivers). Did you use some of the transition words to make your writing flow? Did you include a topic sentence that tells the reader what your paragraph is about?

Grade 5:
You looked at the similarities and differences between food (type and acquisition) and organizing your information in a chart. For example the Anishinaabe gathered wild rice, while we primarily eat cultivated rice; First nations people hunted for meat, we raise animals on farms. Use the information that you read last night.

We also looked at two dwellings, longhouses and wigwams, and compared the similarities and differences between those two homes.

Math
What is the relationship between the length and width of a rectangle and the area?

Media
Everyone was able to upload their power point on physical and chemical changes. Please work on it at home. Go to Office 365 at home and use your school login.
