Literacy
Did you solve "The Dirty Dog" mystery today? The detectives were able to find clues that pointed to the suspect who was responsible for the assault. Why did I type those three words in red? How are they related to a mystery story? Tomorrow you will take your story map and write a summary of the story. I challenge you to write the write the summary in no more than 5 sentences. Think you can do it?

Math
Reviewing rounding numbers to different place values. Tomorrow I will teach you a little short cut where you look to the digit on the right to decide whether to round up or down. If the digit to the right is less than 5, then you round down. If it is 5 or greater, you round up. Being able to show your work on a number line, is very important.

Religion
Yes indeed, God has no favourites! What do the words of Peter actually mean? What is the message of the story of Cornelius?
Another fine performance today. Tomorrow the next group will present. I'm impressed with the initiative groups have shown bringing costumes and props.

Student Led Conferences
You have been very busy preparing for your student led conferences. You have so many things to share with your parents. By the end of the conference you should be ready to set some goals based on the assessment tools you have used and your daily work. Remember it's all about improving your LEARNING SKILLS. You're going to really enjoy being in charge!

Reminder:
Don't forget to read a book on Raz Kids and complete the quiz. I would love to hear you read!
