3. Shawn is doing sit-ups for training. He does 10 on day one, and increases to 40 by day 11. What is the sit-up pattern if he increases by the same amount each day? Make a table to show the pattern.


4.  Write the first 10 numbers in this pattern: Start at 10 and increase by 5 each time. Find the sum of the 10 numbers.


5.  Mrs. Hollis gave Ethan a challenge. Read for 1 minute on Monday. Then double the time you read each day for a week.
a) Make a t-chart to show the time Ethan spent reading on Sunday.
b) Konrad decided he was going to read for 5 minutes on Monday, then 10 minutes on Tuesday, then 15 minutes of Wednesday and so on. Who read for longer on Sunday, Ethan or Konrad?
