Our first unit in math is Patterning. Vocabulary that you should be able to explain:

What are the different attributes that we discussed and worked on today?
You should be able to create, extend and describe shape patterns and tell how each attribute changes.

If Emma started a phone chain about the date of the Cross Country Meet at 3:30 and phone calls were made every 10 minutes, how long would it take for everyone in the class (28 students) to know about the race?
Amazing first cross country practice! Everyone was trying his or her best. Congratulations to Hannah and Talan who were our medal winners today. Outstanding performance for the first day. Don't forget to stretch after running.
