Today we had a little bit of a "catch - up" day. Most of you has finished and printed off your Bitstrip comic. Half of you have printed off your mind-map. This will be used for your next writing assignment. Half of you have made revisions to your autobiography poem and a handful have started typing out your published copy. You can work on the mind map from home using Mindomo on Desire to Learn on the board website.
Math
Grade 4s will be bringing home their math notebooks. Please correct any mistakes and READ MY FEEDBACK. Many of you are not answering the question that is asked in the word problem in a sentence. Please make sure you UNDERSTAND what the questions is asking.
Grade 5s will be given feedback tomorrow.
Learning Skills
Our learning skill for this week is RESPONSIBILITY. Please set a goal for the week using the success criteria in your agenda.
Reading Logs
Many of you do not have a high degree of reading STAMINA. You find it difficult to focus and read for more than a few minutes. Please practice reading each night and record the amount of time you spend reading on your calendar. Don't worry too much about the graph if you're confused, I'm going to change it to make it a bit easier for next month.
