Our bridge challenge was a huge success. Four bridges held over 20 Nelson Math Textbooks. The winning team supported 30 math textbooks. Amazing work Spectacular Smarties!

We talked about expressing probability of something occurring as a fraction. The denominator represents the total number of rolls and the numerator represents the number of times a particular outcome occurred.
For example, if we roll a dice what are the possible outcomes?
If you rolled the dice 24 times and counted the number of times the 5 was rolled, it should probably be around 6. The fraction is 6/24.

Soccer Tournament
Due to the hot weather on Monday, our annual Polyfilla Cup will be on Tuesday. It is outdoors so please come prepared.
Bring refillable water bottle, lots of healthy snacks, hearty lunch, hat, sunscreen and appropriate soccer / gym clothes. If you don't have soccer shoes, no worries, running shoes are fine. If you do have soccer gear, feel free to wear it!
