This is really cool.... a good trick to pass time during this hot spell!
You'll always get the number 6801 when you follow these instructions.

Step 1: 358
Step 2: 853
Step 3: 853 - 358 = 495
Step 4: 594
Step 5: 594 + 495 = 1089
When you turn it upside down you get 6801.... Try it!

Something to think about... (this is not true today, but it used to be!)

Remember the rules for moving the decimal when multiplying and dividing by 10, 100, 1000. When dividing the decimal moves to the left, multiplying to the right. Think logically, when you multiply the number should get larger and when you divide it should get smaller.
