Family Life
Today in we discussed a very important word in class today. Do you remember what is was? It started with an "r" and ended with a "t". If we show this to everyone throughout our lives, the world would be a wonderful place. Don't forget to start bringing in photos about yourself to share with the class.

Science
Producers, consumers, herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. Make sure you understand how plants make their own food through the process of PHOTOSYNTHESIS. Look at the diagram below. Make sure you understand the things that plants use to create food and what they produce when they make the food. Look carefully at the diet of the consumers in the pictures in your textbook. That is how you know the type of consumer they are.

Math
The last problem on both grade 4 and grade 5 patterning test were the most challenging. I did notice that a few people did arrive at the correct solutions.

Reading Logs
I have simplified the reading logs for the month. Each log should have an orange calendar. Record the title of the book you read and the minutes you read at school and home. That's all you need to do every day.

Cross Country
Today was our last day for cross country training. Congratulations to students who trained hard and have improved throughout our 5 weeks of training. The final cross country meet is on Wednesday, October 7 @ Regina Mundi College.
