Today we watched an inspirational movie on Terry Fox. Thank you to all students who brought in a toonie (or more) for Terry. Everyone ran their very best today in honour of this courageous Canadian hero. One person can make a difference.

It took us a little longer to guess the mystery object in the box today. As soon as someone asked if it was something you clean with, a light went on in your brain!
Explain to your parents how your brain is like a sponge. Think of all the attributes of a sponge.
When we put the sponge in the water, what did the water represent?
What happens to the brain when it's left out in the sun? How does this compare to your brain?

Every day this week you have had one kind of patterning problem to answer. Please read the feedback you are given. Remember to explain how you solved the problem and how you know your answer makes sense. You will bring home your assessment book on Friday to share with your parents and to help you study for your test on MONDAY. It must be returned on Monday.
